Acore Hosting – Fair Use Policy

Effective Date: 24th August 2026 Provider: Acore Hosting

0. AcoreZero – Free Tier

As part of our commitment to accessibility and fair service, every person (individual user) is entitled to one (1) free server under the AcoreZero tier. This free server is provided on shared infrastructure and is subject to all the terms and conditions set forth in this document, including resource limits, fair use principles, and prohibited usage. The AcoreZero tier is intended for personal, non-commercial use and may not be resold, transferred, or used for high-traffic or resource-intensive activities that degrade performance for others. Acore Hosting reserves the right to modify or withdraw this free offer at any time with reasonable notice. Container and Software Restrictions: AcoreZero servers must only be used for the software or application type supported by the selected container. Discord bots may only be operated using Node.js, Java, or Python containers. Minecraft servers may only be operated using Minecraft containers. MCXBoxBroadcast services may only be operated using MCXBoxBroadcast containers. BeamMP servers may only be operated using BeamMP containers. Users may not intentionally run software or services in an incompatible container, use containers to bypass platform restrictions, or disguise another type of service as an approved application. Acore Hosting reserves the right to suspend or delete servers that violate these container restrictions. Code Obfuscation and Encryption: Users may not use Base44 or similar services, tools, or methods to encrypt, obfuscate, encode, or otherwise conceal application source code in a manner that prevents Acore Hosting from inspecting or verifying the software being executed on its infrastructure. This restriction exists to ensure compliance with our Fair Use Policy, container restrictions, security requirements, and abuse-prevention measures. Acore Hosting reserves the right to suspend or delete any server running software that has been intentionally concealed in violation of this provision. For paid plans, there is no limit on the number of servers you can run, provided that each server complies with all other provisions of this Fair Use Policy and our Terms of Service. Important Note on Group or Network Abuse:
Acore Hosting reserves the right to delete your server if we detect that multiple individuals are collaborating as a group to pool their free AcoreZero servers together. Furthermore, if multiple friends or users are found to be using their respective free servers to form a single combined network, cluster, or any interconnected infrastructure, all involved servers will be suspended immediately without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to, using free servers as nodes in a mesh network, VPN, game server cluster, or any other arrangement that circumvents the “one server per person” rule or unfairly consumes shared resources.

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Fair Use Policy (“FUP”) is designed to ensure that all customers using Acore Hosting services receive a stable, fair, and high‑quality hosting experience. It prevents excessive or abusive use of shared resources that could negatively affect other users. By using Acore Hosting services, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all Acore Hosting services, including but not limited to:
  • Game server hosting
  • Databases
  • Any associated network or computing resources

3. Fair Use Principles

Acore Hosting operates on shared infrastructure. This means all users must use resources responsibly and avoid activities that degrade service quality for others. Users must:
  • Use only the resources reasonably required for their service
  • Avoid continuous or unnecessary high CPU, RAM, or bandwidth usage
  • Ensure applications are optimized and not poorly configured
  • Respect allocated limits and usage guidelines
  • Avoid running processes that simulate denial‑of‑service behavior (intentional or accidental)

4. Prohibited Usage

The following activities are considered unfair use and are not allowed:
  • Running abusive or malicious scripts (including botnets or crypto‑mining without permission)
  • Launching or participating in DDoS attacks
  • Excessive resource consumption that impacts server stability
  • Hosting illegal content or services
  • Running open proxies or VPN exit nodes (unless explicitly approved)
  • Spamming, phishing, or bulk unsolicited messaging
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Resource Management

Acore Hosting may monitor resource usage to ensure fair distribution across all users. If your usage consistently exceeds acceptable levels, we may:
  • Throttle or limit resource usage
  • Suspend or temporarily restrict services
  • Request optimization or configuration changes
  • Recommend upgrading to a higher plan

6. Abuse Response

If a user is found violating this policy, Acore Hosting reserves the right to take action, including but not limited to:
  • Temporary suspension of services
  • Permanent termination of accounts in severe cases
  • Removal of offending content or processes
  • Reporting illegal activity to relevant authorities

7. Changes to This Policy

Acore Hosting may update this Fair Use Policy at any time. Changes will take effect once published. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
